Los Angeles, CA – July 30th, 2008 – Shinano Kenshi Corporation (SKC-North America), has announced the launch of the PLEXTALK™ Pocket, the latest product from the company's popular and successful line of PLEXTALK healthcare and educational family of products.
The PLEXTALK Pocket is a lightweight, pocket-sized, DAISY-compliant music, voice, and book player/recorder that offers revolutionary mobility and ease of use by nearly anyone in business, education, and leisure. It is the world's first true crossover media recorder/player that bridges a host of applications yet also comes packed with features that support unsurpassed accessibility for those who are visually impaired or learning disabled.
The PLEXTALK Pocket also features direct-read of HTML input from SD cards and USB flash memory so users can input media (including text-to-speech—TTS) without connecting to a PC. And simply connecting the unit to any computer via USB enables data and media backup as well as recharging of the PLEXTALK Pocket’s 10-hour battery.
