Technical Project Manager / Applications Engineer
Job Description: This is a newly created position driven by the company’s desire and need to expand its overall support and services to our corporate strategic accounts and key growth markets. As the company is a smaller subsidiary of the $500 million private parent company, there will many opportunities for this position to contribute. The company is seeking individuals who are dynamic and able to provide energy and vision to the positions for which they are hired. - Experience in electronic motor technologies and capable to size and support the company’s complete product offering.

Sr. Applications Engineer
Location: Allentown, PA
Job Description: Confers with customers to review project needs and to analyze and determine requirements for electronic motors and controls, and coordinates with engineers to ensure application of proper components. Provides technical support, advice and solutions to customers, and troubleshoots and helps manage product quality issues related to electronic components during R&D phase, mass production, and installation. Provides technical coordination and support between management and engineering staff at R&D and manufacturing center in Japan and U.S. customers, recommending electronic and other design modifications as necessary. Provides sales representatives and new employees with training about company products and applications. Travels to Japan and to assigned customer sites in eastern U.S.
Educational Requirements: MS in engineering
Job Experience: 2 years in design and/or applications engineering. Experience must be related to electronic motor technologies and the design and application of brushless DC motors relevant to digital office products and personal computer peripherals.
Language Requirements: Oral and written fluency in Japanese.
